THERE was an ugly moment during a joint practice session involving the Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys, when Albert Huggins shoved an opposing staff member.

A number of expletives could be heard between Rams and Cowboys players, and for a short while there was a chance of chaos breaking out.

Cowboys defensive lineman Albert Huggins pushed a Rams staff member to the ground.

He was performing one-on-one drills that pitted Cowboys defenders against Rams offensive linemen.

Huggins first shed a block from Mike McAllister, before regaining his footing.

He then put both hands out to push the Rams staffer to the ground, which seems like an act that could have been prevented.

Huggins certainly didn’t apologize, and ran back to his team to continue the drill.

Soon after, Huggins was reportedly ushered away from the one-on-one drill by a Cowboys staff member.

The footage of the incident was posted on X, the site formerly known as Twitter, by reporter Jon Machota, who covers the Cowboys for the Athletic.

As you can imagine, fans were not slow to have their say about what happened.

“Yeah, I’d say that’s egregious and he should be kicked out of practice,” one fan said.

“First off, I don’t condone this, but why is the staffer on the actual field and not behind the chalk?” another fan said.

“If you can’t control yourself/emotions in a 75% practice drill, why would you expect the coaches to trust you in a game,” a third fan posted.

Huggins has been with a number of teams since playing with Clemson in college.

He played in 13 games for the Atlanta Falcons last season, starting five of them.

He recorded 22 tackles and one fumble recovery during those appearances.

The Rams and Cowboys have practised together since they met in a preseason game on Sunday, which the Rams won 13-12.
