She was last seen at around 8 pm on Tuesday, August 13 in Allendale, South Carolina, with her car found abandoned the next day, per WJBF , an ABC affiliate.

Jessica’s aunt, Amy, told The U.S. Sun that the last the family heard from her was about 8-8:30 pm on Tuesday night.

Police found Jessica’s car with the keys still inside, her shoes, and her cell phone that same day at around 9:15 pm, according to WJBF.

According to authorities, it was stuck across the railroad tracks that run through the community of Martin in northwestern Allendale County.

The vehicle was still warm, but had been sitting for a while, said Allendale County Sheriff James Freeman, per the outlet.

According to Freeman, authorities searched for Jessica on Wednesday, August 14.

The search involved three helicopters, two of which were from the Savannah River Site, and a local dog team, per WJBF.

The helicopters provided an aerial survey of the area surrounding the car for five and a half hours, the outlet reported.

Anyone with any information on Jessica’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Allendale County Sheriff’s Office at (803) 584-7067 or leave a tip with SLED through Crimestoppers at https://www.888crimesc.com or by phone at 1-888-CRIMESC or 1-888-274-6372.

On August 14, Missing People In America shared a Facebook post about Jessica’s disappearance that has since received over 12,000 shares.

Her aunt was trying to meet her halfway, but Jessica never showed, according to the post.

Concerned members of the public have taken to the comments, with one writing, “Beautiful young lady, my prayers [are] for a safe return.”

Another wrote, “Lifting up prayers and shared in South Carolina.”

Other Facebook users said they spread the word in various places across the US , such as North Carolina , Georgia , Ohio , south-central Tennessee , and Chicago .

Some have raised concerns about cell phone service in the area where Jessica went missing.

One person said the service “is not good” and another called it “non-existent.”

Another shared, in part, “One time my car cut off randomly and I had to pull over on some sketchy two-lane road with no lights!

“Luckily it cranked back up and my car had built-in GPS because I had no signal.”

In the comments of a Facebook post from WJBF, one person raised concerns about the visibility levels in the area where Jessica went missing.

“Out in the straight country. The worst place to get lost. It’s pitch black dark at night,” the woman wrote.
