LOTTERY bosses have urged players to double-check tickets as the winner of a $50,000 Powerball prize remains a mystery.

It’s one of multiple winnings yet to be cashed in – including one for $150,000.

The winning Powerball ticket was sold for the drawing on Saturday, August 10, reported Delaware News Journal .

It was sold at Route 8 Liquors 4128 Forrest Ave in Dover, Delaware .

The winning Powerball numbers for August 10 were 09, 24, 33, 64 and 69, according to Delaware Lottery. The Powerball was 09, and while the Power Play was 2X.

The mystery winner has one year from the date of drawing to stake their claim, per the lottery rules.

Delaware Lottery’s how-to-claim guide states winners should immediately sign the back of their ticket.

“Print your name, address, and phone number clearly on the back of ticket, and, most importantly, be sure to sign it,” it said.

Before claiming any big prize, check your numbers carefully.

“Numbers can play eye tricks, especially when you think you may have won!” it advised.

“Calmly re-read the game instructions and compare your game ticket numbers to the winning numbers drawn/revealed.

“Since a winning lottery ticket is nearly equivalent to currency and can be quite valuable, it’s important that you check your numbers for yourself.”

Delaware Lottery officials are still waiting to hear from multiple winners of big cash prizes.

A Powerball drawing on April 20, 2024, which scooped the winner $150,000, has yet to be claimed.

A mystery remains over the ticket-holder yet to cash in their $50,000 Powerwall winnings from the March 9, 2024 drawing.

And the clock is ticking for a $50,000 Powerball prize following its September 30, 2023 drawing. That winner has just over a month to claim this money.

It comes as lottery bosses in the state have highlighted multiple winnings, including a group of 34 people from a local, family-owned business in Lewes who struck gold playing the April 6, 2024 Powerball drawing.

    They scooped 50,000 before taxes.
