FOUR years after leaving the New England Patriots, Tom Brady could be set to make a return to Foxborough.

This season, the seven-time Super Bowl champion will be joining Fox Sports, where he and Kevin Burkhardt will form their lead announcing duo.

It was seemingly revealed during the Patriots’ preseason loss to the Philadelphia Eagles that Brady will be calling the Miami Dolphins’ visit to Foxborough in Week 5
    WBZ television Network

He’ll be taking the place of former tight end Greg Olsen alongside Burkhardt, with the longtime Carolina Panthers star joining Joe Davis.

Brady joins the network on a 10-year deal worth a reported $375 million – which he signed while a member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2022.

He is expected to make his on-air debut on September 8 when the Cleveland Browns host the Dallas Cowboys in Week 1.

As for the rest of Brady’s schedule, it seems likely he will call their America’s Game of the Week.

This includes the Baltimore Ravens at Dallas in Week 3, the Kansas City Chiefs at the San Francisco 49ers in Week 7, and the New York Giants at the Cowboys in Week 13.

However, during Thursday’s broadcast of the Patriots’ 14-13 preseason loss to the Philadelphia Eagles , one of Brady’s former teammates may have accidentally revealed that the legend will also soon be calling a game at Gillette Stadium.

Boston’s local CBS affiliate, WBZ, covered the game where Scott Zolak was joined by former Patriots defensive backs Jason and Devin McCourty.

During the game, the crew seemingly accidentally revealed that Brady would be calling New England’s Week 5 game against the Miami Dolphins .

“I’m with CBS so we don’t talk about Fox announcers, Jason then joked.

The passing comment didn’t go unnoticed by fans, with the exchange quickly landing on X .

“GOAT back in NE,” one fan declared.

“It’s about time the goat stepped in,” said a second.

“Tom Brady on commentary? We will be watching,” added another.

As a fourth asked, “Does he plan to enter the game at halftime?”

A second unretirement by Brady may not be as crazy as it sounds, despite the fact he recently turned 47.

In a recent video shared on his media production company Shadow Lion’s YouTube account, Brady could be seen showing off his still impressive physique .

“I just want to make sure all those young bucks in the NFL know that if I still wanted to come out of retirement, they still got something to deal with,” Brady commented in the clip captioned, “My 72 Hours at the Paris Olympics…Last Week with Tom Brady.”

However, Brady also admitted in the clip that he now throws a total of “zero” days per week.

With another retirement U-turn seemingly a long shot, Patriots fans will surely be keen to hear his take on their current quarterback situation come Week 5.

New England drafted Drake Maye third overall in April out of North Carolina.

Maye is currently listed second on the depth chart behind veteran Jacoby Brissett.
