And one of their ultras hatched a scheme to get one over on rival fans.

They filmed themselves keying a combination into a remote control which set off a smoke bomb in the away end.

The device, which must have been planted hours before kick-off, emitted green smoke – the colours of Ferencavros.

Home supporters could be heard cheering, while several away fans, who were all clad in purple, angrily tried to find the source.

Viewers rushed to social media to share their views.

One wrote: “BUDAPEST IS GREEN WHITE.”

Another added: “I had to take the cap off my lad’s water at Charlton . This fella goes straight in with a remote-controlled detonator and a smoke bomb.”

A third said: “Ingenious in fairness.”

Ferencavros controlled the derby for long spells but could not convert their dominance into goals.

It took 92 minutes for Tosin Kehinde to finally break the deadlock.

Mohammad Abu Fani saw red after 12 MINUTES of added-time as the hosts held on for a 1-0 victory.

Ferencavros have been knocked out of the Champions League in the qualifying stage.

They face Bosnian outfit Borak in the first leg of a Europa League play-off on Thursday.
