Travis Kelce brutally roasted by brother Jason after Patrick Mahomes’ ‘out-of-spite’ play to Chiefs tight end goes viral

JASON Kelce took a hilarious dig at his brother after he connected with Patrick Mahomes on a behind-the-back pass.

The Chiefs had a big play ahead of them in their second preseason game, sitting at 3rd and three with the ball at the33-yard line.

Pressure got in the backfield quickly, and Mahomes looked to Kelce to get rid of the ball.

Without much time to throw, Mahomes threw the ball behind his back to Kelce who got the first down.

Jason initially shared a reaction to the Mahomes play, calling the quarterback “magic.”

“This son of a gun actually did it!! Magic Mahomes,” Kelce tweeted .

After the play happened, Mahomes revealed on the sideline that he had to throw behind his back because Travis ran the wrong route.

“Long story short, Travis didn’t run the route he was supposed to run,” Mahomes said.

“Then it was a behind the back pass because I was mad, I was kind of pissed off at Travis.

“He was supposed to run a flat route, I don’t know if you could hear me on the broadcast I was yelling at him and he doesn’t run it.

“Out of spite I threw him a behind the back pass.”

After hearing Mahomes’ explanation, Jason took a subtle dig at his brother.

“If Pat starts throwing behind the back passes every time Travis runs the wrong route, this may be the most exciting year of football to date,” Jason tweeted .

Fans were baffled by the display from Travis and Mahomes, and shared their thoughts on social media.

“It’s a wrap for the rest of the league,” one fan said.
