Edelman took his talents to the commentary booth during the preseason game in Levi Stadium in San Francisco.

Before the game, the retired three-time Super Bowl champion wide receiver was alongside host Charissa Thompson during Fox’s pre-game preseason game coverage .

Edelman was asked who he thinks will win the Super Bowl in the 2024 season.

The 38-year-old believes Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs will three-peat – an achievement that has never happened in the NFL .

But Edelman revealed his reasoning as to why he will be backing Kansas City to win the big game.

“I’ve learned my lesson. I’m never betting against the Chiefs again,” he told Thompson.

    “I lost a lot of money .”

Thompson then asked Edelman if his “money is on the Chiefs?”

“I’m going with the Chiefs!” Edelman shouted out.

Edelman also turned heads with a take on 2023 NFL MVP Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens .

He took a swipe at Jackson for his underwhelming playoff history .

“Lamar Jackson’s been on a milk carton in the playoffs. He’s been missing,” Edelman said.

Jackson and the Ravens beat the Houston Texans in the divisional round in last year’s playoffs.

But Baltimore lost 17-10 to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship .

During the game, Jackson completed 20-of-37 passes for 272 yards along with a touchdown and an interception.

The two-time NFL MVP rushed eight times for 54 yards but was sacked four times.

Jackson has a 2-4 career record in the playoffs.

He has six passing touchdowns and six interceptions in his playoff career.

The Ravens will face the Chiefs in the 2024 NFL season opener on September 5.
