LIAM and Noel Gallagher secretly met up for the first time in years to plot an Oasis comeback.

The warring brothers haven’t been on speaking terms for over a decade.

And sources told The Sun the atmosphere was “electric” when the siblings finally got together in the same room.

Liam , 51, and Noel , 57, secretly met for a historic photoshoot to go with the posters which will be released for their tour next year.

We revealed Oasis will play four Wembley gigs next summer plus a string of blockbuster shows around the country.

Insiders told us many involved in the project believed they’d never live to see the day the brothers would stand side by side again.

Our source added: “It was a pinch me moment to have Noel and Liam together.

“It has taken a lot to get them to this point but they’re thinking of the fans.

“The shoot was top secret and barely anyone knew about it. For their fans to see them together again will be an amazing sight, the atmosphere in the room was fizzing, it was electric.

“Once the announcement is made and their fans are rushing out to buy the tickets the hard work will start as they get ready to start performing together again.

“It is something so many people never thought would happen. But now the brakes have been taken off – and it’s going to be mad.”

Liam has long been the driving force for the reunion and used social media to tell fans how much he wanted it.

Jokingly replying to a fan on X, who said of the reunion: “Been saying this and no one believed me,” Liam simply wrote: “Same.”

The tour, set to kick off next summer, will have Noel and Liam leading fans on a nostalgic journey through their eight No.1 albums.

Insiders say Noel had once worried about not delivering a show worthy of fans’ expectations if the band reunited.

However his feelings changed after witnessing the massive success of Blur’s comeback last year, which included two sold-out shows at Wembley.

Despite their infamous Britpop rivalry Noel and Blur’s Damon Albarn have grown closer in recent years.

Damon even mentioned he’d bet on an Oasis reunion, hinting that the Gallagher brothers might just be ready to make it happen.

Friday will make 30 years since Oasis released debut album Definitely Maybe.

Unheard versions of classic songs from the record will featured on a remastered deluxe album released within days.
