Days later, the reality TV star was seen testing out a “For Sale” bike at an antiques store in Iowa, in photos shared on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, August 28.
Dressed in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, Robbie posed for a picture on the bike, before allowing his grandson to climb on to it.
His Story was set to Waylon Jennings’ song Drinkin’ and Dreamin’.
Robbie’s shopping trip comes days after he showed off two vintage bikes on his Instagram, announcing that they were going on sale for the combined price of $14,000.
He gave fans a good look at the “over the top” details on a Benelli 650S motorcycle and a Hercules in an Instagram video, before revealing they would be on sale for any enthusiasts to snap up.
“Felix Chopper Shop built these in the early 1970s Winber, Pennsylvania,” he wrote over the clip.
“He built many bikes. These are two of his most famous. The attention to detail is over the top.”
He captioned his post, “These bikes will be [up] for sale at the Davenport antique motorcycle swap meet [that] starts next Wednesday.
“$14k gets the pair, they belong really in another museum that people can enjoy them,” Robbie fawned over the bikes.
The 53rd Annual Chief Blackhawk Antique Motorcycle Swap Meet got underway at the Mississippi Valley Fair Grounds in Davenport, Iowa, on August 28.
Robbie, younger brother Mike Wolfe, and the rest of the cast and crew of American Pickers are currently filming new episodes of the History Channel show after it was renewed for a 26th season.
On August 22, Robbie, who replaced American Pickers’ original co-host Frank Fritz, told fans the series will return to TV screens on October 15.
He made the announcement on Instagram with a picture of himself and the show’s crew sitting on the porch of a rustic cabin.
“Filming another new season of American Pickers.
“October 15 see you soon,” he captioned the post.
American Pickers follows Mike, Robbie, Danielle Colby, and Jon Szalay (Jersey Jon) as they travel the country looking for hidden treasures and rare collectibles for their private collections.
He posted a picture of the bike on his Instagram Stories, set to the song Smokestack Lightning by rock band Howlin’ Wolf.
“Let the games begin, Davenport Iowa Baby!” he wrote on the story, referring to the annual swap meet event.
The Wolfe brothers have a long history of buying and selling rare motorcycles, often putting pieces from their extensive personal collections up for sale.
Last January, Mike decided to sell several pieces from his $387,000 bike collection, including the 1926 Harley-Davidson OHV Single Racer for a whopping $23,000.
