THE NFL season is set to kick off in three days, but Kay Adams is nowhere to be found.

After an ambitious preseason tour to every NFL training camp, it appears that Adams is taking some time off ahead of the season.

On Monday, Up & Adams didn’t air in its usual slot, leaving fans wondering where the show could be.

Instead of live streaming the usual show, The Up & Adams YouTube and Twitter accounts posted highlights from previous episodes to fill in for the absent show.

Adams didn’t give any updates on why the show wasn’t on air either.

Up & Adams last broadcasted on Friday, and there is no timetable on when the show might return.

It is possible that the show could be back on Tuesday, or they could wait until after the first game of the NFL season on Friday to resume.

Adams has spent loads of time prepping for the start of the NFL season, and most recently spoke to Hall of Famer Dwight Freeney about the start of the season.

Freeney focused on the matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans , saying it was going to be a bloodbath.

“This is just kind of the essence of football in a way,” Freeney said.

“People don’t talk about it often – doesn’t get public knowledge – but in the locker rooms you’re talking about it all the time.

“And no matter who you’re playing, especially if the team is a rival, you’re trying to get after them.

“And they just happened to make it public for everyone to know.”

Freeney shared that both sides hate each other, and it should be a great game because of that.

“It’s gonna be a, for lack of better words, a bloodbath out there,” he said.

“And it should be. First game of the year, adrenaline is going to be hype and pumping, the building is going to be rocking, it’s gonna be a great game.”

The Week 1 NFL schedule features some great matchups that should lead to great entertainment around the league as well.

Kay Adams is a fantasy football expert who shot to fame as the host of Good Morning Football in New York City for six years.

Having previously hosted fantasy-based shows, Adams took on the role of GMFB presenter when it launched in 2016.

And, along with Nate Burleson, Kyle Brandt, and Peter Schrager, she helped make that show one of the best in sports.

Adams left GMFB to pursue new ventures in 2022.

She relocated to Los Angeles and linked up with FanDuel to start a self-titled show – Up and Adams.

Her latest program airs on weekdays at 11 am ET, sometimes from special locations such as the Super Bowl or Kentucky Derby.

The Chiefs and Ravens face off on Thursday in a rematch of the AFC Championship.

The Rams and Lions also face off in a matchup between Jared Goff and Matt Stafford , former quarterbacks of each team.

They also met in the playoff on the NFC side of the bracket, with the Lions coming out on top.

The Jets and 49ers will face off on Monday Night Football in what should be a battle of top defenses to open the season.

Aaron Rodgers will also aim to play his first full game as a Jet after a devastating injury in Week 1 of 2023.
