Worthy, the fastest player ever to run at the NFL Combine , found the endzone twice on his Chiefs debut.

The 21-year-old wideout scampered in a 21-yard run during the first quarter to even up the contest at 7-7.

Worthy showed off his lightning speed as he torched through the Ravens’ defense for a first career score.

He was mobbed by his teammates, with quarterback Mahomes dashing over to secure the touchdown ball for the rookie receiver.

The three-time Super Bowl champ was seen grabbing the momento from an Arrowhead staffer, who was carrying a ball under each arm.

“Are we sure he grabbed the right one,” laughed one fan in response to the footage on X.

“Mahomes is so cool why’s he hated on?” added another.

“Pat Mahomes made sure he’d never forget that moment!” said a third.

“This was a special moment” commented a fourth.

Worthy would go on to score again, receiving a perfect 35-yard pass from Mahomes in the fourth quarter.

His feat makes the 21-year-old only the second player in the last 35 years to score a rushing and receiving TD in his first game.

“Xavier coming out as a rookie and having a rushing touchdown and a receiving touchdown, that was beautiful,” Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said.

“Man, it was crazy,” Worthy said of his first TD.

“We ran that in the preseason, and I fumbled. So, it was kind of bad, but for them to be able to have that trust in me.

“I told [offensive coordinator Matt] Nagy that I think this play is going to score and it happened.

“So, it was an amazing moment my first touchdown in the NFL.”

“He’s so cool, calm and collected like all the time,” Mahomes added.

“You can’t even see the excitement on him. He goes out there and makes plays.

“Obviously, we want to continue to use him more and more, but I thought he had a great day today making big plays in big moments.

“It was good to get the whole offense going and seeing where everyone is at.”
