Jeff Bezos’ Fiancé Lauren Sánchez Flies Helicopter as Son, Orlando Bloom Skydive

Lauren Sánchez took to the skies Thursday to give “helicopter parenting” a brand new meaning. The TV anchor and media personality, who is engaged to Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos , went skydiving with her 23-year-old son, Nikki Gonzalez, and Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom . Sánchez shared the meetup on Instagram to her 488K followers, posting the footage with the caption: “I guess you could call me a helicopter mom.” The video shows Bloom and Gonzalez doing a fist bump before diving off into the sky. The aviation enthusiast has three kids of her own, and her fiancé Bezos has four with his former wife Mackenzie Scott. Sánchez has had her pilot’s license since 2011, and she has written a children’s adventure book about soaring through space. She announced last year that Bezos is working on his pilot license as well, and that the couple “fly together” all the time.
