The Hub by Pack Animals, a pioneering destination where dogs and their guardians can work, learn, play, and grow together, is set to open at City Center Bishop Ranch this Saturday, July 13. This unique facility combines integrated dog training with co-working spaces, making it the first of its kind in the area.

Located in a 2,993-square-foot space next to Equinox on Level 2, The Hub is designed as a sanctuary for both dogs and their owners. It offers extensive training and community support, divided into two main areas: The Lab and The Lounge.

The Lab offers a variety of group and private classes taught by certified dog trainers. These classes are available to members and non-members alike, catering to dogs of all ages. The Lab also allows drop-ins for practice exercises, equipment use, and advice from trainers.

The Lounge transforms into a pet-friendly co-working space on weekdays, where dogs and their guardians can work alongside certified trainers. On weekends, it hosts community events, creating an engaging environment for dogs and their owners.

“Pack Animals is dedicated to revolutionizing the way people raise their dogs by improving canine and human wellness simultaneously,” said Andrea Bazett, co-founder of Pack Animals and an Animal Behavior College (ABC) and Fear Free Certified Dog Trainer. “Opening The Hub at City Center Bishop Ranch marks our first step in ushering this new era of dog guardianship to the Bay Area.”

For pets that are reactive, anxious, or fearful, The Hub offers a supportive community where guardians can connect with others who understand their experiences. This allows them to learn new ways to understand and nurture their dogs’ emotional responses without bringing them into the group environment.

The Hub is also open to dog lovers without their own pets, offering a chance to engage with dogs and gain valuable experience before committing to pet ownership.

The Hub will serve as an in-person complement to the soon-to-be-launched Pack Animals training app. This comprehensive app will provide members with lessons and practice exercises relevant to every life stage, inspired by a range of human and canine professionals. Members of The Hub will receive complimentary access to the app, allowing them to stay engaged digitally.

“We are excited to add The Hub to City Center Bishop Ranch,” said Jeff Dodd, senior vice president of retail. “This unique concept strengthens our dog-friendly environment and complements the existing retail shop George, the most friendly dog and cat store in the Bay Area.”

The Hub will be open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information about Pack Animals, visit packanimals.com. For more about City Center Bishop Ranch, visit citycenterbishopranch.com.
