Bill Monroe’s Historic $12 Million Tennessee Estate for Sale — See Inside! [Pictures]
The stunning Tennessee estate that belonged to country music icon Bill Monroe is currently for sale, and the buyer will be getting a piece of history. Bluegrass Today reports that the pioneering bluegrass legend's 244-acre estate in the affluent Nashville suburb of Goodlettsville, Tenn., is currently for sale. The massive property is listed for $12 million.
Governor Visited YEP Participants at Buffalo River Resort
Governor Bill Lee was in Perry County last Friday, July 26, 2024, to visit Tennessee’s Youth Employment Program (YEP) participants at Buffalo River Resort which hired seventeen youth and young adults to work various jobs during the peak summer vacation season. Gov. Lee met with the resort’s owners, talked with YEP participants, and saw firsthand the positive impact YEP has on Perry County’s economy.

Most recent data from the CDC and Tennessee Department of Health shows from 2012 to 2021 more than 19,000 Tennesseans have died of a drug overdose, which is enough to completely fill up the FedEx forum.

Tuesday Severe Storms: More Power Outages, Damage Reports & Flooding
After widespread damage from storms on Monday, Tuesday saw its fair share of bad weather. Several severe thunderstorm warnings brought widespread damaging winds, heavy rain, hail and lightning.
