Bulldogs earn Area Track Championship

The Bulldog track team garnered an Area Championship last weekend in Thrall.

Several of them will compete at the Regional Meet on April 19-20 at Texas A&M Kingsville.

Boys results were:

Shot Put: Kaleb Yount - 2nd place

Discus: Braden Pickel - 3rd place

Pole Vault: Luciano Legon - 4th place

High jump: Case McDaniel - 4th place

100-meter dash: Everton White - 2nd place, Carson McCoy - 1st place

200-meter dash: Everton White - 4th place, Carson McCoy - 1st place

400-meter dash: Jayden Clawson - 4th place

800-meter run: Case McDaniel - 3rd place

1600-meter run: Case McDaniel - 2nd place

Triple jump: Jayden Clawson - 3rd place

4x100 relay: 1st place: Jayden Clawson, Everton White, Owen Pyeatt, Carson McCoy

Girls results were:

Shot Put: Bethany Preusse - 3rd place

Discus: Riley Shock - 4th place, Bethany Preusse - 1st place

800-meter run: Raven Sandoval - 4th place

1600-meter run: Raven Sandoval - 2nd place

3200-meter run: Skielee Bear - 1st place, Raven Sandoval - 3rd place
