CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — A truck driver who allegedly threatened to shoot himself was taken into custody after a pursuit that began in Port Aransas and ended near Callicoate. Nueces County Precinct Five Constable deputies were requested to assist Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) troopers on Interstate Highway 37. The suspect's tires were spiked by other agencies, bringing the vehicle to a stop in a field a short distance into San Patricio County, according to the press release.
