The allegations suggest that she clandestinely introduced methamphetamine into the Holman Correctional Facility located in Atmore and subsequently supplied it to an incarcerated individual. Law enforcement apprehended her on Wednesday.The Holman Correctional Facility serves as the principal correctional institution for death row inmates in Alabama and is the sole facility in the state authorized to conduct executions, according to information available on the Department of Corrections website. The complaint paints a troubling picture of widespread drug availability and endemic overdose incidents within Alabama's prison system.

The Rainbow City Police Department reported on Facebook that the body of Roger Dale Whisman, a missing Ashville man, was found in Canoe Creek around 12:49 p.m. on Saturday. On Thursday, May 23, a "now former" Summit Crossing Community Church employee was arrested after being suspected of sending inappropriate communications to a teen. An inquiry into 49-year-old Mark Sellers began last week following claims that he exchanged "inappropriate and explicit messages to a teenager."
