    Riverton, WYThe National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook and a Red Flag Warning for Western and Central Wyoming, highlighting extreme heat and critical fire weather conditions.

    Heat Advisory

    A Heat Advisory is in effect until 9 PM MDT today, with temperatures expected to approach 100 degrees east of the Divide. Residents should take precautions against the heat, including staying hydrated, avoiding strenuous activities, and seeking air-conditioned environments.

    Red Flag Warning

    The NWS has also issued a Red Flag Warning from 10 AM to 9 PM MDT on Sunday for parts of central and southwest Wyoming.
