Isolated Thunderstorms Expected; Heavy Rainfall Possible by Thursday

Green Bay, WI — National Weather Service

Isolated Storms for Northeast Wisconsin The National Weather Service (NWS) in Green Bay, Wisconsin, issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook on Monday afternoon, advising residents across north-central and northeast Wisconsin of potential weather disruptions throughout the week. Isolated thunderstorms are possible later this afternoon and into the early evening. However, these storms are not expected to become severe.

    More Storms on the Horizon

The chance for isolated thunderstorms will continue into Tuesday afternoon and early evening, with similar conditions to today—no severe weather is anticipated. However, the NWS has issued a marginal risk warning for heavy rainfall on Thursday and Friday. This could lead to localized urban and low-lying area flooding, particularly in regions that are prone to water accumulation. Despite the rainfall risk, severe weather is not currently expected.

    No Spotter Activation Needed

The NWS does not foresee the need for spotter activation during this period. Nonetheless, residents are encouraged to stay informed and be cautious, especially in areas vulnerable to flooding later in the week.

    Conclusion

Northeast Wisconsin residents should prepare for possible thunderstorms early this week, with a more significant threat of heavy rainfall and localized flooding later in the week. Staying updated on weather alerts will be essential as conditions evolve.
