Binghamton Aeros host qualifier for national Aeromodellers championship
A local radio-controlled airplane club is playing host to a qualifier for a national competition this weekend. The Binghamton Aeros are holding a northeast qualifier for the National Association Of Scale Aeromodellers' National Championship, with pilots coming to the Chenango Bridge Airport from as far as New England to participate.

48 teams help fundraise for Special Olympics at CSEA Cornhole Tournament
For the second year in a row, Civil Service Employees Association Region 5 raised money for Special Olympics at Touch Of Texas on Upper Front Street. The CSEA raised the funds with a cornhole tournament as a new record of 48 teams took part, paying between forty to sixty dollars to play depending on when they registered.
