Walt Disney Audio-Animatronics Figure is Coming to Disneyland

At the D23 Convention, Disney has announced a new attraction at Disneyland that will feature the first-ever Audio-Animatronics figure of Walt Disney himself. Titled "Walt Disney – A Magical Life," this attraction will debut in 2025 and will be located in the Main Street Opera House. The experience is designed to give visitors a sense of what it might have been like to visit Walt Disney's office and see his creative process firsthand.

Josh D’Amaro, Disney Experiences Chairman, shared the news during the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. He expressed pride and excitement for the project, which is being developed by Walt Disney Imagineering.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, after its initial run, "Walt Disney – A Magical Life" will rotate with the "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln" attraction, paying homage to Walt Disney's pioneering work with Audio-Animatronics technology, which he first introduced about 60 years ago.
