STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - A Cleveland Clinic doctor used his life-saving skills to save a co-worker choking in the hospital cafeteria. Dr. Harry Kourlis, Director of Cardiac and Thoracic Surgery at Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, was eating lunch when Jaida Evans ran up to their table and was “clearly in distress” and clutching her throat.

Lake County PERI chapter preparing for annual picnic
Lake County Public Employee Retirees, Inc. Chapter 28 will hold their Annual Picnic at noon Aug. 1 at Painesville Township Park. Attendees are asked to bring a dish to share and non-perishable food donations.
