Nominations are pulled from reports to Varsity 845 and other sources. Players from Orange, Ulster and Sullivan counties, plus Delaware Valley (Pa.) are eligible. Only one nomination per school is permitted each week. This week the poll is split into large- and small schools.

He tossed a three-hitter, striking out six, as the Bears beat Pine Bush 3-1 on Monday. On Wednesday she fanned four in a two-hit shutout of Newburgh, 13-0.

She had three singles in the Sawyers’ 8-1 win over Wallkill on Monday.
Alana Hayes, Cornwall
She had a double, two singles and two RBI a the Dragons fell to Warwick 13-6 on Monday.
Emma McCaffrey, Minisink Valley
She had a homer and four RBI as the Warriors beat Monticello 19-0 on Tuesday.
Abbey Montalvo, Port Jervis
She struck out 10 batters in her win, a 7-0 decision over Beacon on Wednesday.
Rylee Moore, Warwick
She had a single, double and four RBI as the Wildcats beat Cornwall 13-6 on Monday night
Ella Nathe, New Paltz
She hit a two-run inside-the-park homer for the Huguenots in an 8-5 win over Beacon on Monday.
Avery Ogden, Pine Bush
She struck out six and allowed seven hits in the Bushmen’s 6-5 win over Kingston on Tuesday.
Valerie Pedersen, Monroe-Woodbury
She had a hit, two RBI, allowed only two hits and struck out 12 as the Crusaders beat Kingston 11-0 on Monday.
Sarah White, Wallkill
She had two singles and a two-run double as the Panthers beat Highland 11-2 on Thursday.
