Rady Children’s Invitational Matchups Announced, Features Final Four Rematch

Sports San Diego announced the first-day matchups for the second annual Rady Children’s Invitational, set for November 28-29 at UC San Diego’s LionTree Arena.

The second-year event includes four teams from four different conferences, which are Purdue (Big Ten), BYU (Big 12), North Carolina State (ACC), and Ole Miss (SEC).

Purdue and NC State face off November 28 at 12:00 p.m in a 2024 Men’s Final Four semifinal rematch, followed by BYU vs. Ole Miss at 2:30 p.m.

In the Final Four game last April, Purdue handled NC State 63-50 to advance to the National Championship game, which they would lose to the University of Connecticut.

Following the result of the two games, there will be a third place game at 12:30 p.m. on November 29, followed by the championship game at 3:00 p.m. All of the games will be televised on FOX or FS1.

“Together with Rady Children’s Hospital-San Diego, FOX Sports, UC San Diego Athletics, and Global Sports & Events – we’re confident this early season college basketball tournament is already one of the best in the country,” said Jackie Reed, 2024 President of Sports San Diego. “San Diego is the perfect place to do this, and we cannot wait to tipoff for our second year.”
