Joliet, IL – Desplaines Street is currently closed at the railroad bridge near Marion Street due to falling concrete from the bridge. The Joliet Police Department announced the closure on Saturday, citing safety concerns. According to the department, the closure is expected to last throughout the weekend as crews assess and repair the damage.

Harvey mayor commits to not increase property taxes under 'Hold the Tax' pledge
