    Northern Tier roads closed due to storms

    Update, 5:24 p.m. — PennDOT announced that Station Road and Alder Run Road reopened.

    Route 154 is still closed, and Camp Brook Road (Route 4019) between Holden Brook Road and the New York state line in Osceola Township is now closed due to trees falling into utilities.


    NORTHERN TIER, Pa. ( WETM ) — A handful of roads in Bradford and Tioga, Pennsylvania, counties are closed due to damage from Monday night’s storms.

    According to a PennDOT alert, Route 154 between Grover Road (Route 3012) and South Avenue in Canton Township is closed due to trees falling into utilities as of 11:45 a.m. on July 16.

    The same alert said that Station Road (Route 1015) at the interaction with Buckwheat Hollow Road (Route 1028) in Lawrence Township closed for trees falling into utilities. Wires are reportedly down on the side of Buckwheat Road.

    Alder Run Road (Route 1020) in Jackson Township is closed for trees falling into wires.

    PennDOT is advising motorists to use caution when driving through these areas.
