Southeast Wisconsin weather: Rain on the way

We couldn't shake the clouds again today and rain is on the way tonight. A stronger frontal system sets up a line of thunderstorms, likely severe across Iowa and Minnesota this evening. These storms will weaken significantly as they approach southeast Wisconsin and move in after midnight. Scattered showers linger on and off through Friday. Most can expect up to a half inch of rain with locally higher amounts possible.

The Labor Day Weekend continues to look fantastic. Saturday will be the day to take the boat out with highs in the 80s. A cold front passes through Saturday night and the rest of the long weekend will feel more like early fall.
