Four people were shot in Toledo over the holiday, according to Toledo police.

Around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, a 34-year-old man showed up at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center with a gunshot wound. He said he was shot near Greenbelt Parkway and Bush Street but gave police an inconsistent story as to what happened.

A Toledo teen was shot in the neck Thursday afternoon, police said. Around 1 p.m. police, responding to a ShotSpotter alert reporting 14 gunshots, found evidence of a shooting in the 400 block of West Delaware Avenue. While on scene, Xavier Russell, 17, walked into St. Vincent seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. Police said the gunshot wound was the result of a disorder the Russel youth was involved in on West Delaware.

Around 11 p.m. Thursday, police responded to Birmingham Terrace in East Toledo on a report of two people shot. They found two victims, each with gunshot wounds that didn’t appear to be life-threatening. Due to lack of cooperation from the victims and no ShotSpotter alerts from the devices near the complex, police are unsure of where the pair were shot. Both individuals were transported to St. Vincent.
