Jazz in the Garden concerts kick off Thursday

The season’s first Jazz in the Garden concert at the Toledo Botanical Garden is scheduled for Thursday and will feature the Toledo Jazz Orchestra.

The botanical garden features regional jazz artists each Thursday through Sept. 12 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Food trucks will also be on site.

Admission to Jazz in the Garden is $10. Garden members may buy up to two tickets for $5 each. Gates open at 5:30 p.m., and only cash is accepted.

The botanical garden encourages viewers to bring chairs and blankets for the shows.
