Former President Donald Trump is catching more accusations than BT Riopelle catches baseballs.

Trump is now facing accusations of pushing an employee to remove security footage at his Florida estate in new criminal allegations connected to his alleged mishandling of confidential files.

A total of 40 charges are present in the new indictment, including two additional counts of obstruction and one allegation of intentional withholding of defense information.

Trump has referred to the prosecutor as "deranged" and rejects any wrongdoing. Nevertheless, Trump associates often end up behind bars.

Carlos de Oliveira, a staff member at the former US president's Mar-a-Lago estate, has also now been charged.

He is said to have inquired as to how the video could be deleted, which according to the prosecution, depicts the movement of illegally held files.

Trump entered a not-guilty plea along with his close aide Walt Nauta, who was charged with two additional counts of obstruction.

The Department of Justice issued a subpoena seeking for surveillance footage of the basement where it claimed classified materials were kept.

The indictment stated that a document that Trump showed to his biographers may have contained plans to attack "Country A," which other media sites have identified as Iran.

The former president predicted that he would face charges, in that case earlier this month.
