    Oakland car fire intentionally set: TFD

    TOPEKA ( KSNT ) – On Sunday, the Topeka Fire Department (TFD) responded to a report of a vehicle on fire in an Oakland neighborhood.

    Firefighters responded to the reports of a fire just before 11 p.m. in the 1400 block of NE Chester Ave. Firefighters found the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. No occupants were in the vehicle and no injuries were reported.

    A follow-up investigation determined the fire to be intentionally set with an estimated loss of $6,000.
