Proffessor Kim Gerhardt-Whiddon with the University tells 27 News, this degree has been in the works for two years.

“Part of the reason we drafted the new degree was to help students be more competitive,” Gerhardt-Whiddon said. “Be more marketable, but also to help students get internships at agencies like the KBI.”

The degree will be open to all Washburn students.
