THE mother of a missing girl is said to have spent weeks living on her front porch before fleeing the US almost two years after her daughter vanished. Madalina Cojocari was 11 when she was last seen getting off the school bus in her Cornelius, North Carolina neighborhood, about 15 miles north of Charlotte, on November 21, 2022.
Pender County nonprofit getting closer to moving into new location
HAMPSTEAD, NC (WWAY) — A Pender County non-profit is in the process of moving to a new location to better serve those in need. Share The Table is an organization that provides free community meals and a food pantry. They give away more than 1,000 meals to people in Pender and Onslow County per week. The faith-based organization is in the process of moving to a larger location in Hampstead off Highway 17 on Perkins Drive. The new location will allow them to offer more services, such as education and cooking classes. Dawn Ellis, the nonprofit’s Executive Director said she’s excited they’re going to be able to help more people.
