Photos: Operation Reload For Heroes Competitors Hit the Target
A brief shower may have slowed the start of BR Soldier Outreach's Operation Reload For Heroes sporting clay tournament but it didn't dampen the spirit of those competing. The tournament, originally scheduled for May 17, was held at the Bridge View Gun Club in Port Allen and is a fundraiser to help pay for the postage for shipping comfort items to deployed soldiers. BR Soldier Outreach ships comfort items not just to a nominated soldier but also to every service member in that soldiers unit. Next years tournament will be held on May 16.
