Cool Things the WWE 2K24 Season Pass Offers

What kinds of treats can pro wrestling fans find in the WWE 2K24 Season Pass? 2K24 has been out since March 2024 and the Visual Concepts/2k joint venture is loaded with content. Bearing the largest roster of any WWE title, the Season Pass only magnifies the game's catalog of available wrestlers and managers. These characters can shore up various game modes, including MyGM and Universe mode. It should be noted that those who bought either the "Deluxe" or "40 Years of WrestleMania" Editions of WWE 2K24 already have the Season Pass by default. But if you only own the base game and are considering purchasing the Season Pass, read on to find out what it offers you.

All DLC Packs

The main attraction for the Season Pass is access to both current and pending DLC offerings. Like previous WWE 2K games, 2K24's DLC Packs are being released in successive waves spread throughout the year. Each Pack revolves around a central theme, such as the ECW Punk Pack featuring hardcore legends associated with the ECW brand. Both past and present wrestlers are featured throughout the Packs, giving the DLC a nice medley of talent to add to the in-game roster. They also contain MyFaction Cards, small extras for the heavily promoted game mode. The following list denotes all of the Packs and the current roadmap for their respective releases:

SuperCharger

The WWE 2K24 Season Pass allows the usage of the SuperCharger. The SuperCharger unlocks all of the in-game Legend characters such as Kevin Nash and Yokozuna. It makes classic venues, such as the WCW Monday Nitro arena, available for matches. Be aware that these characters, arenas, and championships can also be unlocked in-game through 2K24's Virtual Currency (VC). The SuperCharger makes all of this available immediately without needing to spend VC, speeding up the process of obtaining them. Superstars and other unlockables from the Showcase and MyRise modes will not be unlocked by the SuperCharger.

MyRISE Mega-Boost

Having the Season Pass confers the MyRise Mega-Boost to the user. This small add-on is solely used in the MyRise game mode. It grants the player an additional 200 Attribute points to be distributed for their created character. This is a significant stat buff to have early in a playthrough. Some players may wish to avoid using the Mega-Boost as it could affect the story's natural level-up progression.

Season Pass Summary

For those with the base version of WWE 2K24, these elements of the Season Pass can also be purchased individually. If, perhaps, you want one of the DLC Packs but not all of them, each Pack will cost roughly $9.99 each. But for those looking for all the bells and whistles, the Season Pass is great value and more cost-efficient than buying each DLC separately. The SuperCharger and Mega-Boost may not be something you would buy individually. However, they are a welcome bonus alongside all the new playable characters should you purchase the Pass.

Two more DLC Packs are still set to launch this year in September and November. These Packs feature current Superstars like Kairi Sane and Lyra Valkyria as well as legendary WCW wrestlers, bolstering an already-loaded roster with even more top-notch people for players to try out. WWE 2K24 is available for purchase right now on PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, and the Xbox One and Series X/S.
