Destiny 2: False Idols God Roll Guide

Destiny 2 features hundreds of exciting Legendary weapons. Its latest expansion, The Final Shape launched with about a hundred new and returning weapons. This expansion was also released with a new destination called The Pale Heart of the Traveler. It features various activities that reward players with new Exotics, new armor sets for Warlocks, Hunters, and Titans, new cosmetics, and a new set of Legendary weapons. This set has 8 weapons, including a new Sword called False Idols. These weapons come with an Origin Trait called Dealer’s Choice which generates Super energy on kills.

False Idols is a Vortex Frame that has Solar affinity. Vortex Frame Swords are popular in the Destiny community as their heavy attack allows the player to make a spin attack that not only deals high damage but also has crowd control. Vortex Frame Swords are also not a bad choice for DPS against bosses. Falling Guillotine is an iconic Sword in Destiny 2 history and it also belongs to Vortex Frame.

False Idols feature a variety of perk options. In the left column, there are perks like Relentless Strikes, Incandescent, Duelist’s Trance, Unrelenting, Wellspring, Attrition Orbs, and Strategist. In the right column, there are options like One for All, Collective Action, Counterattack, Bait and Switch, Vorpal Weapon, Chain Reaction, and Surrounded.

False Idols PvE God Roll

In PvE, a Sword serves two purposes; It can either be used for clearing groups of minor enemies extremely quickly or for dealing damage against bosses. In both of the cases, players want to increase the Impact stat of Sword as high as possible. This can be achieved by using an Impact Masterwork, Jagged Edge as the blade option, and Balanced Guard as the Guard option.

Incandescent and Chain Reaction is an obvious pairing for crowd control and ad clear. Both of these perks cause explosions. Incandescent is in the left column and causes a Solar explosion on kills that Scorches nearby enemies therefore also synergizing with the Solar subclass. Chain Reaction causes an elemental explosion on kill and enemies killed by those explosions cause further explosions. This is an extremely good combination for clearing the room of enemies while also having Solar synergy.

For Boss damage and DPS, in the left column players have access to Relentless Strikes which returns Sword ammo upon rapidly landing light attacks. This perk allows the players to do more damage and deal in the fight for much longer. In the right column, there are various damage options but the best option is Bait and Switch. This perk provides a 35 percent damage bonus to weapons if you deal damage with all other weapons equipped in a short time. This is by far the best and easiest to maintain damage perk option.

Conclusion

False Idols is a Vortex Frame Solar Sword and it has some amazing perk options for both crowd control as well as boss DPS. Players want to boost the Impact stat of this Sword as high as possible. For crowd control purposes, the combination of Incandescent with Chain Reaction is amazing. For DPS and against bosses, the combination of Relentless Strikes with Bait and Switch is the best possible combination.
