Quality of life is something we all aim for, and according to U.S. News & World Report, Raleigh, North Carolina, ranks as one of the best places to find it.

Based on factors like daily satisfaction, crime rates, healthcare, education, and commute time, the report offers a "Quality of Life Index" for cities across the U.S.

At the top of the list is Ann Arbor, MI, with a quality of life score of 7.7. But Raleigh isn't far behind, ranking #5 with a quality of life score of 7.2 and an overall score of 6.8.

Honolulu was right ahead of Raleigh, but despite the high rank, Honolulu’s value score dropped due to the high cost of living.

So, why Raleigh? With its strong job growth, thanks to the research and technology triangle, a friendly, educated, and diverse community, and a vibrant culinary scene, Raleigh has a lot to offer. Residents enjoy easy social connections, plenty of green spaces, cultural venues, and a rich summer concert scene.

    What Do You Think?
Do you agree with Raleigh’s high quality of life ranking? Have you lived there or considered moving? Share your thoughts and experiences on what makes Raleigh a standout—or if another city deserves the spotlight!
