Woman Brazenly Takes Shower While Burglarizing House

STANLEY, Va. – A woman who thought she'd made a clean getaway is now behind bars after burglarizing a home on Thursday.

According to a media statement from the Page County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), the incident occurred August 8, 2024.

PCSO deputies responded to the 100 block of Donovan Drive for a report of breaking and entering. Residents had come home to find that their house had been burglarized. A large amount of personal property was missing. The homeowner also discovered that whoever had been in the house had also brazenly taken a shower.

Investigators from the PCSO Criminal Investigations Division responded and processed the scene.

On August 12, investigators arrested Chelsey Dawn (Bywaters) Good, of Stanley.

Good, 31, was charged with possession of controlled substance, two counts of grand larceny, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and burglary.

Additional charges may be pending.

As reported by the homeowner, Investigators were able to recover much of the stolen merchandise.
