School board approves dress code for Sto-Rox Junior-Senior High School
McKEES ROCKS, Pa. (KDKA) -- A dress code is coming next year for all Sto-Rox Junior-Senior High School students.The school board is now banning hoodies, jeans, and sweatpants.As for shirts, only collared shirts and crewneck sweaters are allowed, and they must be solid colors of black, gray, green, or white.The school board also voted to spend up to $328,000 to install hundreds of security cameras.
North Catholic gets new principal
North Catholic High School has a new principal after Bishop David Zubik of the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh appointed Zeb Jansante to the role effective July 1. Jansante’s appointment comes with the support of the Catholic High Schools of the Diocese of Pittsburgh’s board of directors as well as with the recommendation of the North Catholic High School’s board of directors.
