Jinger Duggar Vuolo, once a familiar face from the reality TV show "19 Kids and Counting," and her husband Jeremy Vuolo are embracing a new chapter with a significant real estate investment in Southern California. On August 1, the couple sealed their commitment to the Golden State by purchasing a picturesque home in Newhall, CA, for $1.9 million.
A Significant Purchase in Newhall
Previously owned by Master’s University and Seminary, the property, which was last sold for $1.75 million in 2022, has been the Vuolos' rental home while Jeremy pursued graduate studies at the institution. Now, the couple transitions from tenants to homeowners, having secured a $1.52 million loan to finance their purchase. This marks a notable shift from their previous rental situation, offering them a permanent foothold in the Santa Clarita area.
From Reality TV to Real Estate
Jinger, who gained fame as part of the Duggar family on TLC's long-running reality show, has recently distanced herself from her family's traditional Arkansas lifestyle. Her book, "Becoming Free Indeed," reflects her journey towards a more independent path. Together with Jeremy, she has made significant moves, including a stint in Laredo, TX, before settling in Southern California in 2019. They previously owned a home in Los Angeles, purchased for $830,000 in 2022, which they recently listed for $900,000.
The New Home: Spacious and Serene
Their new abode in Newhall offers a striking contrast to their former urban setting. Built in 1980, this Tudor-style estate sprawls across 4,696 square feet and sits on a generous 5-acre lot. The residence features four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with all bedrooms located on the upper floor. The home boasts two fireplaces—one in the living room and another in the primary suite—adding warmth and elegance to the spacious interior.
In a recent podcast episode, the Vuolos shared their excitement about this move, acknowledging their frequent relocations over the past five years. This new home, they hope, will provide the stability and space they've been seeking.
As Jinger and Jeremy settle into their new Southern California haven, their journey from reality TV stars to real estate owners underscores their evolving aspirations and quest for a lasting home.
