Nora Vasconcellos Talks Art, Skating, and Her Creative Process in New Nixon Series

She’s a skateboarder. She’s an artist. She’s many things. But at the end of the day, she’s simply Nora. From designing board graphics to giant murals; filming video parts to pure progression, Nora has seen it all, done it all, and she’s just getting started.

Nixon recently caught up with Nora to talk about how naturally all these worlds collide in her day-to-day life, while digging a little deeper into her creative process. Full speed ahead! Take a look:

Art and skateboarding have always gone hand in hand, at least to some degree. But every person and every approach is different. It’s interesting hearing Nora get into the nitty gritty details of her process. Her art is pretty recognizable at this point and just like her skating, she’s always progressing. The passion is real.
