Summers in New Jersey are known for being sweltering hot and it looks like this year is no exception.

While there are a few great options to cool off in the Garden State, we'd argue there are none quite as relaxing as the lazy river where you can leisurely float the hot day away in the water.

the best and largest lazy river in New Jersey is located inside Six Flags Great Adventure's Hurricane Harbor. It's known as the Taak It Eez Ee Creek.

The lazy river is surrounded by waterslides, float areas, splash pads, pools and so much more. Prices start at just $39 a person and children under 2 get in for free.

Measuring in at 2,150 feet, the lazy river is the real star of the show here. It's the perfect place to cool down with the fam and each tube can fit up to 2 people.
