Exploring Washington's Food Scene and its Annual Mule Day Festival
In this episode, Tommy and I spend back to back weekends in our favorite town of Washington, celebrating both his birthday and our daughter's. During those two weeks, we visit the Mule Day Festival held annually at the Calloway Plantation; we check out the first jail in Washington, eat some amazing pizza from Al's Italian Bistro, pub faire from Maddy's Public House, as well as the Washington Tavern and some traditional festival food eats at Mule Days. For sure, if you're looking for food, entertainment, and history, no town has more to offer than Washington.
