City sets updated schedule for Rays stadium hearings
St. Petersburg city officials have set dates and times for public hearings related to the Historic Gas Plant District and Tropicana Field redevelopment project after “minor issues” forced a postponement. According to a Friday email obtained by the Catalyst, the city council will vote on a resolution stating that the $6.5 billion project is consistent with the Intown Redevelopment Area and a development agreement with the Tampa Bay Rays and Hines “no sooner than” 3 p.m. July 18.
