Catholic Leaders Need the Liberal Arts | Dr. Joseph Wurtz
Dr. Joseph Wurtz is the Dean of Students and the Executive Director of the Gregorian Fellows Leadership Program at Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. A graduate of Benedictine himself, Dr. Wurtz has served the college for decades in numerous roles in the Student Life Office. In this episode, Dr. Wurtz speaks to Dr. Jared Zimmerer about leadership priciples from a Catholic perspective, the need of the liberal arts for future leaders, and the opportunities for formation within the Gregorian Fellows Program.
Kansas Hosts Gonzaga at Rock Chalk Park Sunday

Wichita State Women Triumph at Terry Masterson Twilight Classic
The Wichita State women's cross country team kicked off their season with a victory at the Terry Masterson Twilight Classic, finishing first out of six teams. They scored 42 points, while the men's team secured third place out of 12 teams with 76 points. Freshman Faith Ekart stood out in her debut, placing third in the women's 3-mile race, closely followed by sophomore Isabelle Hartnett. Coach Kirk Hunter praised the team's collaborative effort, highlighting the impact of upperclassmen in aiding freshmen through the race.

Driver jailed after high-speed chase starts in Kansas, ends in Missouri
