Fatal motorcycle-truck collision in Pottawattamie County
(Council Bluffs) -- One person was killed in a motorcycle-truck accident in Council Bluffs Saturday afternoon. Council Bluffs Police say the accident occurred at the intersection of South 17th Street and 2nd Avenue shortly after 3 p.m. Authorities say a motorcycle struck the passenger side of a truck at that location. The motorcyclist was taken to Nebraska Medicine where he later died of his injuries.

Storytime & Activity at KidZone with East Pottawattamie County ISU Extension and Outreach is at 11:00 a.m. There will be a Cornhole Tournament at 11:30 a.m. The final event of the day is SXS Short Track Rally Races at 1:00 p.m.
