    Looking forward to a celebratory weekend after a rainy week? There’s lots to do on those precious days off. Take a look at five events to enjoy this weekend:

    The Stroll in Ligonier

    Take a walk back through time this Friday night at The Stroll. This event will be held outside of Ligonier Town Hall, 120 E. Main St., Ligonier.

    Out on the Diamond, attendees can enjoy music, dancing and classic and antique cars. The Stroll is themed around the 1950s, so pull out your best poodle skirt for the occasion and dance the night away.

    Sunset Yoga in the Gardens

    Need to relax before the week ahead? On Sunday night,West Overton Village will host Sunset Yoga in the Gardens, an all-levels yoga class, followed by a sound bath.

    The class will take place from 7 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the West Overton Village, 109 W. Overton Road, East Huntingdon. Those wishing to participate should bring a mat, blanket, beverages and sunblock. The class is $15 per person, cash only at the door.

    Leading the class will be Yogi Krystal Kantorik, and Lainie Allen will provide the sound bath. Get all the details at westovertonvillage.org.

    Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone

    If you can’t get enough of that mid-century music, check out Peter Noone and his ’60s British music group Herman’s Hermits, who will perform two shows at the Lamp Theatre in Irwin.

    With hits including “I’m Into Something Good” and “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got A Lovely Daughter,” Herman’s Hermits have captivated generations with their timeless songs.

    Tickets are $59. The two shows will be held at 2 and 7 p.m. this Sunday at the Lamp Theatre, 222 Main St., Irwin. To learn more and get tickets, visit lamptheatre.org.

    Monster Drawing Rally

    Come out to this unique event and watch a speed-drawing contest in real time! A group of artists will create drawings in during the rally, and attendees can vote on their favorites at The Westmoreland Museum of American Art.

    20 artists will participate, drawing inspiration from The Westmoreland’s current exhibit, “The Great Search.” Spectators can enjoy music by DJ Fredo, a cash bar and food from Casita Bonita while they watch.

    The rally will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 221 N. Main St., Greensburg. It’s free to attend but advance registration is recommended. Go to thewestmoreland.org to find out about the artists and to register.

    SummerSounds: Run Katie Run

    This week’s installment of the free SummerSounds concert series includes the melodic, energetic Run Katie Run. The band blends Americana, folk rock and country for a fun night of music.

    The concert will take place in St. Clair Park, 135 N. Maple Ave. in Greensburg, this Friday starting at 7 p.m. Cole Douglas will begin the evening with preshow music beginning at 6:15 p.m.
