The Johnson Center for the Arts is a-buzz with the excitement of the opening of Mary Holman Johnson’s exhibit, “Time Travel-My Creative Journey.”

The exhibit will close on October 4. Between the opening and closing of Johnson’s exhibit, there will be several opportunities to meet the artist, to renew old friendships and to make new friends. Mary Holman Johnson is a Troy native. She attended Troy Laboratory School, Troy Junior High, Charles Henderson High School and graduated from Auburn University in 1969 with a Bachelor of Interior Design from the School of Architecture. Her professional career as a commercial interior designer aided in developing her skills for color, texture, proportion and structure which she now uses in her current work at MHJ Studio at Serenbe near Atlanta.
