Tennessee Tech University set an all-time record for externally funded research for the fourth year in a row, according to university administrators. The university topped $46 million in externally funded research in fiscal year 2024, supported by nearly 200 research activations. Co-responder mental health program continues to expand across Middle Tennessee
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Volunteer Behavioral Health Center has seen growth with their co-responder program. Since beginning the program in early 2022, staff with the Murfreesboro center said that they have connected with over 300 people as a direct result of the service. That service pairs mental health professionals with police.
