Man Faces Felony for Alleged Attack on Hospital Staff
JONESBORO, Ark. – A man is being charged with a felony count of battery after a police report alleged he attacked medical workers in Jonesboro. Officers responded after 6 PM on July 19, 2024 to St. Bernards, 225 E. Washington Avenue. The call to authorities reported a disturbance. Officers arrived and were told the suspect had attacked and spat on health care workers, in addition to shouting curse words.

Boyd, 45, was arrested Friday night in what began as a routine traffic stop.
